Police arrest fugitive hiding in monastery
A 29-year-old man accused of murdering a 51-year-old man in Gazi in downtown Athens last September was found hiding in a monastery in eastern Attica and arrested, authorities said on Wednesday.

Colombia says four kids found alive in Amazon after plane crash
Four Indigenous children, including an 11-month-old baby, have been found alive in the dense Colombian Amazon after a plane crash more than two weeks ago, President Gustavo Petro said Wednesday, declaring "joy for the country."
Petro said on Twitter the children were found after "arduous search efforts" by the military, which has yet to confirm the rescue.
Arta: Baby dies after being left in car
A 5-month-old baby died in a car after it was left there by its father in the northwestern town of Arta.
According to police sources, the father was supposed to drop the child off at the nursery, but forgot it in the backseat of the car. The infant's mother went to the nursery at noon to pick up the baby and was informed it was not there.
