Global mobile app market to reach $6.3 trillion by 2021

A new study by analyst firm App Annie suggests the global mobile app economy was worth $1.3 trillion last year and is poised to skyrocket to $6.3 trillion by 2021 as users spend more money on apps, in-app purchases, and mobile commerce.
Apple pulls New York Times app in China after government request
Apple Inc has removed the New York Times Co's news apps from its app store in China following a request from the Chinese authorities, the companies said separately on Jan. 5.
Apple removed both the English-language and Chinese-language apps from the iTunes store in China on Dec. 23, 2016, according to the New York Times, which first reported the action.
Apple turns (RED) for World AIDS Day
Apple is marking World AIDS Day by giving more than 400 of its stores a makeover in red.
Apple says that stores on five continents are turning their logos red or featuring red window decals on Dec 1 in an effort to raise visibility for World AIDS Day.
