Koviljaca Spa Special Hospital receives Brand Leader Award
The Special Hospital for Rehabilitation Koviljaca Spa has been given the Brand Leader Award for the second time in a row.
Prim Dr Aleksandar Jokic received the award within 7th Business Conference Tourist Market of Southeast Europe, where he also delivered a lecture.
Serbia's top health resort Banja Koviljaca to mark 160 years
Banja (Spa) Koviljaca, located in western Serbia, has been a health resort since the Illyrian era.
The first written mention from 1533 indicates that people went there in great numbers to benefit from its springs.

BELGRADE- Last year, about 16,500 people had the intention to seek asylum in Serbia, and December saw a drastic increase in the number of asylum seekers, with 3,400 people requesting asylum that month, it was said at a conference organized by the Serbian Commissariat for Refugees and Migration in Belgrade on Thursday.
Danger of Mass Flooding Eases in Bosnia, Serbia
Hundreds of houses are flooded in Bosnia and Serbia, in the latest week of freak weather to have hit the region, following catastrophic floods in May.
Two persons were reported dead in Bosnia's mainly Serbian entity, Republika Srpska, while police in the northwestern town of Banja Luka are still looking for another two men whose vehicle was found in the area during the floods.

Man dies in his home during flash floods
BANJA KOVILJAČA -- A man drowned in the basement of his home in Banja Koviljača, western Serbia, when flash flooding hit the area late on Tuesday.
The daily Večernje Novosti writes on Wednesday that Mišo Đurić went into the basement to "close the window" and prevent the water getting in, but was overpowered by it.
