Brass band

AIMA Music Festival, organized by the Ayvalık International Music Academy (AIMA), will start on June 8 with a concert by O DA TEKFEN Brass Band. The event will present a feast of classical music and jazz, featuring a total of 12 concerts free of charge at the Ayvalık Municipality Büyük Park Amphitheater through Sept 24.

The joint concert of the Guards Representative Brass Band and the Sofia Philharmonic is canceled, the Ministry of Defence reported.

On the eve of the Day of Saint George the Victorious, the Day of Valour and the Bulgarian Army (6th of May), musicians from the representative military bands of the Bulgarian Army will perform in joint concerts on the occasion of the celebrations, reports BNT. 

Mixing traditional brass band sounds with rock and folk elements, renowned Bosnian composer and performer Goran Bregovic comes to the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) with his Funeral Band to perform selections of the stunning film music that helped earn him a global reputation.

The 55th annual Guca Brass Band Festival began on Monday and will run for seven days, turning a small, sleepy town in western Serbia, some 160 kilometres from Belgrade, into the country's biggest party spot.

Serbia's "ethno-tourist" equivalent to the Exit pop festival,the Guca Brass Band Festival, gets going for the 54th time in the town of Guca on August 6.

BELGRADE - All is set for the 54th Trumpet Festival in Guca, to be held from August 6 to 10 in the western Serbian region of Dragacevo.

The event celebrating folk music and art in Serbia, which became one of its best-known brands attracting around half a million tourists every year, highlights the country's optimism, cheerfulness and sincere hospitality.
