Football: Ludogoretz Lost 0:1 to Red Star Belgrade in Their First Home Game in EL Groups

Bulgarian champion Ludogorets lost 0:1 to Red Star in its second match of Group "F" of the Europa League at  Ludogorets Arena in Razgrad.

The "Eagles" did not play the match they had hoped for, while the Serbs proved to be more creative in front of goal of Christian Kahlina and waited the right moment to strike their only goal.

Champions League: Bulgarian Champion Ludogorets Beat Olympiakos

Ludogorets Razgrad, the champion of Bulgaria, beat Olympiakos in a penalty shootout after the teams were tied 3-3 on aggregate. Ludogorets benefited from the abolition of the away-goals rule this season, which would previously have sent Olympiakos through after the 2-2 second-leg draw.

PSG beat Başakşehir to win Champions League group

French football powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) hammered Turkey's Medipol Başakşehir 5-1 in Dec. 9's UEFA Champions League match to win Group H.

PSG drew the first blood at their home Parc des Princes.

In the 21st minute, Brazilian superstar Neymar sent a curling shot outside the area to beat Başakşehir goalkeeper Mert Gunok.

Ronaldinho arrested in Paraguay in false passport case

Soccer star Ronaldinho was arrested on March 6 night in a hotel in Paraguay's capital after authorities said he entered the country with falsified documents.

The 39-year-old Brazilian and his brother, Roberto Assis, were taken to a police station in Asunción shortly before 10 p.m. local time, Paraguay's prosecutors office said in a statement.
