Security flaws in Intel, AMD, ARM chips put virtually all phones, computers at risk

Security researchers on Wednesday disclosed a set of security flaws that they said could let hackers steal sensitive information from nearly every modern computing device containing chips from Intel Corp, Advanced Micro Devices Inc and ARM Holdings.

Intel Working with Facebook to Create Super-fast AI Chip

Intel has announced that it is working on a super-fast processor specially designed for artificial intelligence systems.

"I think we are in the beginning of a major change ... Artificial Intelligence will be similar to (the development of) the Internet in the 1990s," said Brian Krzanich at a technology conference organized in California by Wall Street Journal.

Intel CEO joins Trump to tout US chip factory for $7 bln

U.S. tech giant Intel unveiled plans on Feb. 8 for a $7 billion chip factory in Arizona, in an announcement at the White House with President Donald Trump.

While Trump appeared to take credit for the plan, Intel called the investment an "update" of a 2011 plan to invest $5 billion for the same facility in the southeastern U.S. state.
