BRUSSELS - The Western Balkan ministers of transport on Wednesday decided to name Belgrade the seat of the Permanent Secretariat of the regional Transport Community.

The decision was confirmed in Brussels at the first Council of the EU-Western Balkans ministerial meeting on the Transport Community.

Romania is now using about half of the money it is entitled to access from Brussels - well up on previous years, but still behind other Eastern European states.

BRUSSELS - A major donor conference to raise aid for the flood-hit population in Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH) will be held in Brussels on July 16 and a number of officials from Europe and the world confirmed their attendance at the event.
