The origins of eight generals who allegedly participated in the July 15, 2016, failed coup in the same town is "against the natural way of life," the main indictment regarding the thwarted coup has stated.

A record amount of drugs were seized in raids across the country late on Oct. 8, Doğan News Agency has reported.

More than two tons of marijuana, including skunk, and 70 kilograms of bonsai, a form of synthesized marijuana classified as the most dangerous drug in Turkey, were seized in raids during five separate operations conducted in four provinces. 

Boydak Holding has been transferred to the Saving Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) as part of the investigation into Turkey's failed July 15 coup attempt, Doğan News Agency reported late on Sept. 5. 

A total of 18 people were detained on March 29 as police from the western province of ?zmir carried out simultaneous operations in five different provinces against a suspected web of human trafficking organizations.
