Electricity price leaflets forged, EPS, police say
BELGRADE - The management of Serbia's state-owned electric power company EPS and the head of the Belgrade city police said on Saturday that tens of thousands of forged leaflets alleging that a 20-percent electricity price hike is to be introduced in April have appeared in Belgrade and elsewhere in Serbia.

Russia Steps Up Blocking Web Content
Russian authorities blocked on Thursday three websites and a blog that had connections with the opposition.
The country's General Prosecutor ordered the sites because they had encouraged "illegal activities and participation in public events held in violation of the established order," The New York Times has quoted Russian officials as saying.

Russian Govt, Central Bank Websites Shut Down by Cyber Attacks
The official websites of the Russian president and the Bank of Russia became target of a series of coordinated cyber attacks by hackers, officials said Friday.
"A powerful attack on the site is ongoing," a spokesperson for the Kremlin said Friday. "Measures are being taken to restore the normal functioning of the site."

NEW YORK -- The Committee to Protect Journalists is alarmed by the blocking today of independent and pro-opposition news websites in Russia.
Those include Ezhednevny Zhurnal, Grani, Kasparov, and the website of the liberal radio station Ekho Moskvy, said a statement.
