Seamen’s federation announces new strike on Jan, 27-28
The executive committee of seamen’s federation (PNO) decided on Thursday to have a new 48-hour strike next week, on January 27-28.
PNO also decided to participate in the strike called by the General Confederation of Employees of Greece (GSEE) on February 4, while they might escalate labour action when the draft bill on social security reform is tabled in Parliament.
Museums and archaeological sites closed due to 24-hour strike on Thursday
Museums and archaeological sites in Greece will remain closed throughout the day on Thursday participating in the 24-hour strike announced by Greek unions in the country, the Panhellenic Union of Employees for the Guarding of Antiquities (PEYFA) announced on Monday.
