COVID-19 vaccination in Botswana

Turkey's health minister has called for a common and coordinated action in order to accelerate vaccinations against COVID-19.

"We are expecting support from the healthcare community to help overcome vaccine hesitancy and from all media outlets to reach out to the public and get messages regarding the vaccination across," Fahrettin Koca said.

Despite the stubbornly high COVID-19 cases, Turkey's hospitals are not overwhelmed thanks to vaccinations, the country's health minister has said, adding that schools will not close again.

Romania's National COVID-19 Vaccination Coordination Committee (CNCAV) has reported that in the last 24 hours, 14,816 doses of the Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines were administered, 9,350 first doses and 5,466 second doses, according to data provided on Thursday by the National Public Health Institute (INSP) on the National Electronic Register of Vaccina

Romania's National COVID-19 Vaccination Coordination Committee (CNCAV) has reported that in the last 24 hours, 15,036 doses of the Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines were administered, 9,669 first doses and 5,367 second doses, according to data provided on Wednesday by the National Public Health Institute (INSP) on the National Electronic Register of Vaccin

Romania's National COVID-19 Vaccination Coordination Committee (CNCAV) reports that 16,183 doses of vaccine have been administered in the past 24 hours, of which 10,013 doses of Pfizer vaccine, 522 of Moderna vaccine, 217 of AstraZeneca vaccine and 5,431 of Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Turkey has administered over 52.34 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines since it launched a mass vaccination campaign in January, according to official figures released on July 3.

More than 35.78 million people have received their first doses, while over 15.58 million have been fully vaccinated, the Health Ministry said.
