Adonis: Health Ministry plans vaccination campaign amid winter surge
Greece's Health Ministry plans to carry out a campaign to promote vaccination against Covid-19, Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis said Wednesday amid a surge of infections this winter.
COVID-19 in Bulgaria: 1005 New Cases in the Last 24 hours
One thousand and five new cases of coronavirus were registered in the last 24 hours in Bulgaria. Two infected people died, according to data from the Unified Information Portal.
The 1,005 new cases were identified from 5,203 tests (over 19.31 percent were positive).

Australia will offer a fourth Covid-19 vaccine to everyone over 30, health authorities said Thursday, as hospitals bulge with patients in a winter wave of infections.
The government said it is recommending a fourth jab for over 50s -- but also offering it to everyone over 30 despite benefits to the younger age group being unclear.

Minister hails success in double-jab rate
More than 85 percent of the adult population in Turkey has been double jabbed and it is a "significant success," Health Minister Fahrettin Koca has said.
Nearly 53 million people aged 18 and above have been given two doses of the vaccine against COVID-19, according to data from the Health Ministry.

Doctors in Greece will Pay for Tests if they don’t have a Booster
The Greek Ministry of Health has announced that about 10,000 medics who have not received a booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine will have to take two rapid tests a week to work. This will be at their expense, Kathimerini reported.
Health Minister Thanos Plevris clarified that health workers who do not have a booster will not be removed, as is the case with the unvaccinated.

The e-mail was marked "urgent" and its title read "Request for vaccination in France".
The text further states that the Tennis Federation of France informed the ATP about the adoption of a legal act that will ban the participation of unvaccinated persons in sports events.
