First-time visitors to Istanbul on the rise
Istanbul is currently enjoying one of the business periods in tourist season this year and first-time visitors to the city are on the rise, says Müberra Eresin, the chair of the Hotel Association of Türkiye (TÜROB).

Tourist arrivals may exceed 2019 level next year: Association head
The number of foreign tourists visiting Türkiye is likely to exceed its 2019 level, says Firuz Bağlıkaya, board chair of the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB).
"There is no doubt about it, we will surpass the 2019 level. We are expecting a new record," Bağlıkaya said.
Night-time illumination proposed in Antalya
Tourism professionals in the southern province of Antalya have suggested "lighting" to make museums and ruins more attractive for tourists who don't want to go out of the hotel in 40-degree heat in summer.
They stated that the number of visitors to museums and ruins would increase if these places were opened after being illuminated in the evening.
