Hackers are using increasingly diverse methods to generate revenue from cryptocurrency. The easiest way is for users to download an application that they do without their knowledge to make money for hackers.

Bitcoin is booming, digital currency hedge funds are sprouting at the rate of two a week and the value of all cryptocurrencies has surged tenfold this year to more than $170 billion, reported Reuters. 

As Bitcoin closes in on a $100 billion market cap, world governments and banks are taking note, but Mario Draghi, chief of the European Central Bank (ECB), thinks cryptocurrencies are not mature enough to be considered as yet.

The ECB president was reportedly speaking at a press conference, where he said:

The first deputy governor of Russia's central bank, Sergei Shvetsov, has said that his institution will support efforts to block access to external websites selling cryptocurrencies in the country.

Russia will block access to trading websites that offer cryptocurrency like a bitcoin. This was stated by the first Deputy Governor of the Russian Central Bank, Sergey Shvezov, defining such a trade as "dubious", Reuters reports.

Serbia has achieved a remarkable result in the decentralized management of IPA funds by signing 143 contracts, the government said in a statement.
