Some 50 cruise ships visit Turkish ports in three months
A total of 50 cruise ships visited Turkish ports in January-March, up from 42 in the same period of last year, according to the latest numbers from the Transportation Ministry.
The number of cruise passengers visiting the country rose from 34,112 to more than 61,000 in the first three months of 2024.
Çanakkale to welcome 45 more cruise ships
The western province of Çanakkale is expected to welcome 45 more cruise ships until the end of the season this year.
As cruise trips to the province were halted because of the COVID-19 pandemic, no liners arrived at the port in Çanakkale for two years.

Cruise operators fixdate for Posidonia forum
Over 30 senior cruise executives responsible for ports and destinations at the world's biggest cruise lines will be participating in the biennial Posidonia Sea Tourism Forum that will be held on May 28-29 at the Domotel Kastri Conference Center in northern Athens.
