Draft bill provides tax incentives for foreign investments
A reduction in business tax from 28 to 24 percent for 2019 and incentives to link large investments to a reduction in taxable foreign income are some of several incentives for investments are some of the measures the government is seeking to introduce in a new draft bill that was presented for public consultation late on Thursday.
MLS shareholders approve minimal dividend
Listed metals company MLS will begin distributing its annual dividend to shareholders on September 3.
Shareholders have approved a gross dividend of 0.02052 euros per share.
After the 10 percent tax, the net dividend will be 0.018468 euros per share.

Tax changes set to start applying as of August 1
The Finance Ministry will table its tax bill on Friday that will include changes to the 120-tranche debt repayment scheme, the reduction of the Single Property Tax (ENFIA) and the prompt application of the corporate tax reduction plus the reduction in the dividend tax.

Corporate tax set to drop by almost a third
Greek businesses will feel some of the tax burden lifted off their shoulders very soon, after Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced on Sunday that corporate tax will be reduced from 28 percent to 24 percent for this year and to 20 percent in 2020, but also that the dividend tax will be halved from 10 to 5 percent next year.
