Djokovic beaten by Goffin in Monte Carlo
MONTE CARLO - Serbia's top-ranked male tennis player Novak Djokovic has failed to reach the semi-finals of the Monte Carlo Masters tournament after losing to Belgian David Goffin 6-2, 3-6, 7-5 in the quarter-finals late Friday.
Goffin won after over two and a half hours of play, and is now 1-5 head-to-head against Djokovic.

Djokovic beats Edmund in Indian Wells 2nd round
INDIAN WELLS - Serbia's Novak Djokovic has got off to a successful start to his title defence at the Indian Wells ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tennis tournament after beating Briton Kyle Edmund 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) in the second round.
Despite an inconsistent performance, Djokovic came from behind in the second set to win the match after an hour and 53 minutes of play.

Defending champion Djokovic knocked out of Australian Open
Defending champion Novak Djokovic has lost (7-6, (10-8), 5-7, 2-6, 7-6 (7-5), 6-4) his second round Australian Open match to Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan.
The match between Djokovic, ranked second on the ATP list, and Istomin (117th) was played on Thursday.
Djokovic through to Doha semis
DOHA - Serbia's top-ranked male tennis player Novak Djokovic is through to the semi-finals of the Doha ATP tournament after defeating seasoned Czech veteran Radek Stepanek 6-3, 6-3 on Thursday.
Title defender Djokovic won after 93 minutes of play and is now 13-1 head-to-head against Stepanek.

Murray claims London title, clinches ATP top spot
LONDON - For the first time in his career, Britain's Andy Murray is set to finish a year as the world number one in men's tennis after beating Serbia's Novak Djokovic 6-3, 6-4 in the final of the ATP World Tour Finals in London late Sunday.
Murray won after 104 minutes of play and is now 11-35 head-to-head against Djokovic.

NEW YORK - Serbia's Novak Djokovic, the current world number one in men's tennis, has failed to defend his US Open title after losing to Stanislas Wawrinka of Switzerland 6-7 (1-7), 6-4, 7-5, 6-3 in the final early Monday.
Wawrinka won after nearly four hours of play to claim his third career Grand Slam title.
Djokovic is now 24-5 head-to-head against Wawrinka.
