CAIRO - Serbian Defence Minister Milos Vucevic visited the Egyptian Air Force's 203rd Brigade on Tuesday as part of an official trip to Egypt.

Greece took part in the multinational military exercise Bright Star 2018 that began on September 8 and ended on Thursday.

Land, air, naval and special forces from Greece, Egypt, the US, Jordan and Saudi Arabia took part in the exercise off the coast of Egypt.

It was coordinated by the Egyptian Armed Forces and the US Central Command.

The United States began July 30 delivery of eight F-16 fighter jets to Egypt, according to its embassy in Cairo, the first since Washington fully lifted in March a freeze on arms delivery.

Egypt launches air strikes in response to execution of Copts

CAIRO -- The Egyptian Air Force overnight attacked multiple targets of the Islamic State in Libya in response to the killing of 21 Egyptian Copts.

Egyptian authorities said in a statement this morning that the attacks targeted IS camps, training grounds and weapons storage facilities in Derna, Libya.
