New residential development investments, totaling 300 million euros, are expected at Elliniko, following the completion of the sale of five plots, totaling 51,000 square meters, by Lamda Development. The buyers are four real estate investment and development groups: Brook Lane Capital, the Dutch Ten Brinke as well as Greek groups Hellenic Ergon and Daedalus Development.

With sales in the residential areas running, having reached almost 100% for the beachfront residences and 65% for the apartments that went on the market at the end of 2023, and the individual developments within the area gradually locking in, the pieces of the puzzle of the Hellenikon mega investment are now coming together at an accelerated pace.

Tram service in the section between Asklipio Voulas and Zefyros in southern Athens will resume on July 1 after four months, the Athens Urban Rail Transport Company (STASY) said on Friday.  

The service had been suspended since March 10 due to construction work at the former airport at Elliniko to bring part of coastal Poseidonos Avenue underground.

The cooperation between shipowner George Procopiou and Lamda Development will be of a strategic nature, after the acquisition of a 2% stake in the listed company's share capital for an amount of 25 million euros.

Property buyers wishing to spend 200,000 euros can get only about 80-100 square meters of an old property in specific parts of Athens' city center and western suburbs.

A decomposed body was found in an abandoned building on Komninon Street in the southern Attica suburb of Elliniko. 

Initial reports indicate no signs of foul play. The local police department is investigating the incident.

Orilina Properties REIC has secured the necessary building permit for its planned complex of luxury homes and a private members' club at Elliniko, southern Athens, and now the process of searching for a contractor through a relevant tender has begun, so that work on site can begin.

We are justified in often feeling that we are Fortune's playthings.
