Varoufakis blames ‘hired thugs’ for assault
Former finance minister Yanis Varoufakis has blamed "hired thugs" for the assault on him on in an Athens restaurant in which his nose was fractured.
"They were not anarchists, leftists, communists or members of any movement," Varoufakis said in a tweet.

Greece leading EU states in funding plans
Greece is among the seven European Union countries to date to have submitted a fully formed blueprint for the utilization of resources from the Next Generation EU fund. This is according to Declan Costello, the deputy director general for economic and financial affairs at the European Commission.

Varoufakis: ‘It’s time for adults in the room’
