Dacic, Kostarakos: Level of Serbia-EU cooperation high
BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic met with Gen Michail Kostarakos, chairman of the European Union Military Committee, in Belgrade on Friday.
They expressed satisfaction with the high level of Serbia's cooperation with the EU as part of the Common Security and Defence Policy.
Dikovic, Kostarakos discuss regional security situation
BELGRADE - Serbia's goal is to participate in the EU security structure even though it is not an EU member state, Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff Gen Ljubisa Dikovic said Thursday at a meeting with Michail Kostarakos, chairman of the European Union Military Committee.
They discussed the political and security situation in the region and worldwide.
Vulin meets with Kostarakos
BELGRADE - Serbian Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin met on Thursday with Michail Kostarakos, chairman of the European Union Military Committee.
Serbia's foreign policy goal is to maintain the status of a militarily neutral country, the Ministry of Defence said in a statement.

Greek general named next head of EU Military Committee
Greek general Michail Kostarakos was named on Monday as the next Chairman of the EU Military Committee.
Kostarakos, currently Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, will assume his duties on November 6 next year.
