Gas storage facilities to build more renewables capacity
Wind and solar power are supplying energy to Türkiye's large and crucial Silivri and Lake Tuz natural gas storage facilities.
The Silivri natural gas facility has a 4.2 megawatts wind power plant, which provides all the electricity the facility consumes, according to a statement by the Energy and Natural Resources Ministry.
Country to face no gas supply problems in winter: Minister
Türkiye will not have any gas supply problems this winter as the country has enough gas at its storage facilities, Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar has said.
"The Silivri underground storage facility is 100 percent full. We are entering the winter well prepared," the minister said after visiting the facility.

State-owned energy companies Botaş and TPAO will participate in oil and natural gas projects in foreign countries in Africa, the Caucasus region, and particularly in the Middle East, Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar has said.
No gas price hike in December, says BOTAŞ
Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ) has announced that natural gas prices for households and industrial users have been kept unchanged for December.
There will be no change in the price of natural gas used in electricity generation as well, the company added.

International energy trading platform may be launched next year: Minister
