A survey has revealed that tradition remains prominent in Turkish society, with men feeling more attached to tradition than women.

Research company Areda surveyed 2,384 people across Türkiye about their perception of tradition.

NEW YORK - One zigs, the other zags. One teases the passerby with bands of translucent glass wrapping a core of clear windows; the other, with floors angled in and out - a gentle architectural mambo. World famous American exhibition basketball team Harlem Globetrotters will stage shows in Istanbul's Ülker Arena Hall on Oct. 22 and 23, Demirören News Agency has reported.

"The magicians of the hoop will stage two shows," the agency highlighted.

Many online ticket sites have announced the shows, but the tickets have not been on sale yet.

The Athens Big Band present their "The Swing Era" at the Maria Callas Olympia Municipal Music Theater. The show will also feature the Athens Lindy Hop dance company and musicians Jennie Kapadai and Stavros Romanos.

With 65 members aged 17 to 70 and a reputation as the premier ensemble of its kind in the United States, the Harlem Gospel Choir is coming to Athens for two concerts at Gazarte that are expected to sell out fast. The program comprises popular hymns, but also gospel covers of pop songs by Beyonce.

Alternate Foreign Minister Nikos Chountis will meet with and host a working luncheon for French Secretary of State for European Affairs Harlem Désir on Wednesday, 25 February 2015.

Following their meeting, they will make joint statements at 2.30 p.m., at the Foreign Ministry (1 Akadimias St., 7th floor).
