The stage of the Romania-Qatar bilateral relationship was one of the topics addressed on Thursday by Prime Minister Viorica Dancila and Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Qatar, on a visit to Romania, a release by the gov't sent to AGERPRES informed.

 
By the end of the year a direct airline between Varna and Doha will be opened - confirmed by the Qatari Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim bin Saif Al-Sulaiti, the Bulgarian head of state's press service has said.
Today was the last day of President Radev's official visit to Qatar where he was at the invitation of Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani.

The construction of a children's training center in Sofia was discussed by President Rumen Radev and the Emir of the State of Qatar Shaykh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani at a meeting today in Doha, where the Bulgarian head of state is on an official visit.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan congratulated Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on the historic Asian Cup win in football in a phone call on Feb. 2.

Erdoğan congratulated the Qatari emir on becoming the Asian Cup champion, said presidential sources.

Prime Minister Viorica Dancila on Saturday started an official visit in the Gulf Area, in Muscat, the Oman Sultanate, and in Doha, respectively, the Qatar State, informs a press release of the Government sent to AGERPRES.

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani agreed on Wednesday to step up efforts to boost bilateral collaboration.

During a one-day visit to Athens, the Qatari official also held meetings with Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos and Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias.

Qatar's emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani said in Berlin on Sept. 7 his country would invest some 10 billion euros ($11.6 billion) in Germany, as he battles a policy of isolation by neighboring states.
