2.4 percent of Turkish public sector discharged over Gülen links: Deputy PM
Some 2.4 percent of Turkish public sector workers were discharged over their suspected links to the U.S.-based Islamic preacher Fethullah Gülen, Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmuş has said.
Kurtulmuş also said legal procedures were carried out against nearly 115,000 public employees as part of efforts to discharge Gülenists.

Detention warrants issued for 42 former Turkish interior ministry personnel
The Ankara Chief Prosecutor's Office issued detention warrants on June 13 for 42 Interior Ministry personnel, who were previously dismissed or suspended from their duties after being determined to have used ByLock, an encrypted smartphone messaging application used by members of the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ), state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.

Court orders arrest of son-in-law of former Deputy PM Bülent Arınç in anti-Gülen probe
An Ankara court on June 5 ordered the arrest of the son-in-law of former Deputy Prime Minister Bülent Arınç after police detained him as a part of the ongoing investigation into the Fethullahist Terror Organization (FETÖ), accused of being behind the failed July 2016 coup attempt.
Ekrem Yeter was detained at his residence and later referred to the prosecutor's office to testify.
35 soldiers on active duty detained over Gülen links in Ankara-based operation
Ankara police detained some 35 gendarmerie forces personnel on active duty as part of two ongoing investigations on June 5 into the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ), which is accused of perpetrating the July 2016 coup attempt, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.
Justice Minister Bozdağ slams depositions of suspected coup plotters
Turkish Justice Minister Bekir Bozdağ slammed former top soldiers who are currently suspects in the main case into the July 15, 2016, coup attempt for denying their involvement in the events that took place at the general staff headquarters on the night of the coup, stating that the defendants "are acting in accordance with Fethullah Gülen's instructions."
41 university employees sought over alleged Gülen links in Turkey's Tekirdağ
A court in the western province of Tekirdağ issued detention warrants for 41 people working at Namık Kemal University on charges of having links to the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) early on June 2, Doğan News Agency has reported.
Among the suspects are reportedly also several academics, a hospital director and executives of the university.
