Turkey and Russia have signed a deal for the delivery of the S-400 anti-missile defense systems, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has said.  

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with British Prime Minister Theresa May on July 3 to discuss bilateral ties and regional issues including the recent Cyprus talks, according to a presidential source.        

The Turkish government has delivered the necessary compensation to the families of the victims of Israel's 2010 raid on the Mavi Marmara flotilla, Finance Minister Naci Ağbal said on June 23, after controversy over delayed payments.

The Foreign Ministry has said a resolution passed by the U.S. House of Representatives on June 6 condemning a street brawl between protesters and Turkish security personnel outside the Turkish ambassador's residence in Washington is "against the spirit of alliance" between Turkey and the U.S. 

The last couple of weeks have been quite busy for those closely following the Turkish-Israeli normalization process. The two countries seem to agree on shifting the gears in terms of economic cooperation and cultural exchange to lay a stronger foundation for bilateral ties.

As if there were not enough issues in Turkish-U.S. relations, a new one has been added to the mix.  

This new one is the unpleasant incident that occurred in front of the Turkish ambassador's residence in Washington on the day President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met U.S. President Donald Trump. 

Turkey and Israel have been in talks about the commercial details of building a pipeline to carry Israeli gas to Europe via Turkey, a top Israeli official has said, adding that he is optimistic about the process in which a final agreement may be reached soon.
