A musical tragicomedy written by Yoel Wulfhart and directed by Manos Tsotras with music composed by Ian Blunsdon, "The Last Lunch" is bound to make you think and laugh. The new venue in town, the Theater of the No (3 Konstantinou Paleologou), presents the play's first-ever production outside of the US.

Pindos-Himalayas | Athens | April 18 – May 11
Gallery Genesis (121 Ippokratous) unveils a retrospective exhibition titled "Pindos-Himalayas/Landscape Quests 2012-2024" by artist Ioanna Konstantinou, curated by Yiorgos Tzaneris. Over the past 12 years, Konstantinou has depicted nature's essence, focusing on untouched landscapes and infusing realism with impressionistic techniques.

Urban Narratives | Athens | February 16 – March 9
The third solo exhibition of Greek artist Ioanna Michopoulou, titled "Urban Narratives," will take place at ArtZone 42 Gallery (42 Vasileos Konstantinou) from February 16. Michopoulou's acrylic artworks, featuring bold colors and geometric shapes, vividly depict the artist's memories and experiences in cities, alleyways and buildings. Admission is free.

Greek National Theater staging four plays with English surtitles this season
The Greek National Theater's 2019-2020 season comprises more than 20 productions, four of which will be staged with English surtitles every Wednesday through Sunday.
Spyros Papaloukas Studies | Athens | To January 31
The National Bank of Greece Cultural Foundation (MIET) is showing 200 pieces by Greek 20th century modernist Spyros Papaloukas, on loan from nine collections. The show at the MIET's Eynard Mansion includes drawings in pencil and ink, as well as watercolors, temperas and a handful of oils.

Traffic diversions in Athens on Sunday
Traffic will be diverted on central thoroughfares in the capital this Sunday on the occasion of the Summer Nostos Festival Run - Running for the Future, a nighttime race organized by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation to mark Olympic Day Run, an international Olympic Movement activity promoting mass participation sports.
