The Athens Concert Hall presents a screening of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill's "The Threepenny Opera" from London's Olivier Theater on Thursday, September 29, in a new adaptation by Simon Stephens. The musical is directed by Rufus Norris, while the cast is led by Rory Kinnear, Rosalie Craig and Haydn Gwynne. Admission costs 15 euros (8 euros for students).

Weill & Eisler | Athens | September 23

The Athens State Orchestra will be performing works by Kurt Weill and Hanns Eisler in the gardens of the Athens Concert Hall on Friday, September 23. Queen of musicals to come to CRR

German singer and actress Ute Lemper, who is renowned for her performances in musicals know world-wide, will take the stage at Istanbul's Cemal Re?it Rey (CRR) Concert Hall on April 28 with her project "Last Tango in Berlin."

Lemper has been universally praised for her interpretations of Berlin Cabaret Songs, the works of Kurt Weill and Berthold Brecht and the French chanson.
