Prosecutor demands 40 times aggravated life sentences for Istanbul nightclub attacker
A prosecutor has demanded 40 times aggravated life sentences and at least 1,555 years in jail for an attacker who killed 39 people in a nightclub in Istanbul on Jan. 1, Doğan News Agency has reported.
Uzbek-origin Abdulkadir Masharipov carried out a gun attack, killing 39 people and wounding 65 others at the Reina nightclub.
