Secret CIA Docs: Yugoslavia Had Uranium to Build Nuke by 1980

A secret study commissioned by the CIA in December 1975 concluded that Yugoslavia had the technical capabilities and the necessary uranium supply to build its own nuclear weapon, and that it could have attained such a weapon by 1980.

Professor Filip Kovacevic, who acquainted himself with the documents, shared his findings with Sputnik.

Austria's intelligence services confirmed a news report on Feb. 28 that they had tracked down a U.S.-based Turkish hacker who attacked several government websites.

The report in the daily Kurier cited the military intelligence service as saying that a Turkish activist directed the attacks from his home in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
