Milivoj Petkovic’s Defence Lawyers Seek his Early Release
Two defence lawyers for Milivoj Petkovic, Vesna Alaburic and Davor Lazic, in a motion filed with the Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals, MICT, have said that according to information from the United Nations' Detention Unit, in February 2021 the conditions would be met to consider Petkovic's early release.

The Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals, MICT has agreed to remove three judges from the appellate procedure in the case of the former Bosnian Serb Army commander Ratko Mladic.
UN court tells Turkey to release detained judge
A United Nations court on Jan. 31 ordered Turkey to release a judge detained in a crackdown after last year's failed coup attempt so that he can resume his work on an appeals case.
Turkey was "ordered to cease all legal proceedings against Judge Aydın Sefa Akay and to take all necessary measures to ensure his release... no later than 14 February," the tribunal said.
