Eight civilians were killed and at least 20 others wounded in a car explosion attack by YPG/PKK terrorists in south of Tal Abyad in northern Syria, Turkey's National Defense Ministry said on Nov. 10.

The U.S. has started construction of two new military bases in Syria's oil-rich Deir ez-Zor governorate.

Turkey on Nov. 3 said the recently revealed U.S. terrorism report which refrained from naming the YPG shows the latter's effort to cover up its cooperation with the terror group.

Turkey and Russia will clear the area 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) south of Turkey's border with Syria of YPG/PKK terrorists, and security forces of the two countries will conduct joint patrols, Turkey's foreign minister said on Nov. 1 at the 4th International Turkish-German Symposium.

Turkey has urged the United States and Russia to fully implement its separate agreements with them on the withdrawal of YPG terrorists 30 kilometers off its borders with Syria and to resume the military operation and to widen the safe zone if it's attacked by terrorists.

Before and during its operation in northwestern Syria that killed a terrorist ringleader, the U.S. acted "within the spirit of Alliance and strategic partnership" in the fight primarily against the ISILand PKK/YPG terror groups, Turkey's National Defense Ministry said on Oct. 27.

The United States will send armored vehicles and combat troops into eastern Syria to keep oil fields from potentially falling into the hands of ISIL, U.S. Defense Secretary Mark Esper said.

Turkey's anti-terror operation in northern Syria is in line with international law, Ankara's envoy to the UN said on Oct. 25, calling for an investigation into any violation by any country for their military operation.

Russian military police carried out their first patrol in northern Syria on Oct. 23 under a deal between Ankara and Moscow that requires
PKK/YPG terrorists to withdraw from a planned safe zone.
