Athens Food Market | Athens | To December 31

The Christmas Edition of the Athens Food Market at Kotzia Square in front of City Hall brings together funky food trucks and pop-ups in a celebration of diverse culinary cultures, as well as creative forces on the Greek restaurant scene. Admission is free of charge and opening hours are noon to 8 p.m. through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Farmers’ road blocks continue around the country on Wed: Bulgaria – Turkey border shut

Greek farmers will continue their tractor protests against pension reforms and tax changes with road blocks at central junctions around the country on Wednesday.

Tempi (northern Thessaly) – closed from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., however on Thursday there are discussions to lift the road block so that citizens wishing to take part in protest rallies can pass through.
