Traffic disruptions on central Kifissias Avenue
Traffic will be diverted on parts of Kifissias Avenue, one of the capital's main thoroughfares, from 11 p.m. until 6 a.m. until June 13 due to works, which began on Monday, for the installation of a fiber optics network.
Traffic will flow normally on May 31 and June 2.
There will also be traffic disruption in the wider area of Kifissia in northern Athens for the same reason.

ADSL charges rise to boost VDSL

OTE starts Greece's first fiber-to-the-home for ultra-fast broadband
Greece's biggest telecom operator OTE Group flicked the switch on the first "fiber-to-the-home" ultra-fast internet connection on Tuesday, which will help the country make a leap to faster speeds within the next four years.
The Smallest House in the World is in a French Lab
Dezeen - French researchers from the Femto-ST Institute have used micro-robots to assemble the world's smallest house, which stands just 0.015 millimetres high.
The tiny house, which has a footprint of 0.02 millimetres by 0.01 millimetres, is around half a million times smaller than a regular two-storey house.

OTE makes progress upgrading infrastructure
The OTE Group announced on Wednesday the completion of the first phase of the country's largest telecommunications infrastructure upgrade project in recent decades, with the increase in the number of street cabinets connected with optical fibers coming to more than 13,000.
