New quarantine rules for arrivals from red-listed countries

Ljubljana – People who come to Slovenia from countries listed as red and dark red but show proof that they have been vaccinated against Covid-19 or have recently recovered from the disease will no longer need to quarantine as of today. Digital Covid certificates from EU and third countries will be accepted. The rule will be in place for less than a week.

Covid certificate mandatory for entering Slovenia as of 15 July

Ljubljana – Slovenia will tighten rules on the border starting on 15 July, as the colour-coded lists of countries will be cast aside in favour of the requirement that passengers who wish to enter the country will need to have a Covid certificate showing they have been vaccinated, tested or have recovered from coronavirus, regardless of where they come from.

Transportation: What changes from tomorrow, July 5

Health minister unhappy with vaccination uptake

Ljubljana – Health Minister Janez Poklukar made a renewed appeal to the population on Monday to get vaccinated against Covid-19, as he warned of the risk posed by the more infectious Delta variant of coronavirus. He said the country was preparing for the fourth wave of infections even as transmission rates remain low.

EU Digital COVID Certificate to become available for download in Romania on July 1

The European Union Digital COVID Certificate will become available for download in Romania on July 1 on certificat-covid.gov.ro, senior official with Romania's Health Ministry Andrei Baciu told AGERPRES on Monday. Baciu added that those who do not have access to the internet will be able to obtain the certificate with the aid of their family physicians or the public health directorates.
