Greek police fired teargas at protesters outside Parliament in Athens on Monday, as lawmakers voted on a new set of bailout measures prescribed by the country's international lenders in exchange for fresh bailout loans.

More than 10,000 people had rallied outside parliament when a group of protesters hurled petrol bombs and stones at police who had formed a cordon outside Parliament.

Tens of thousands of demonstrators supporting the regime gathered on Wednesday in various Iranian cities to condemn the "riots" that broke out in the country in recent days. This shows live footage broadcast on state television, France press reported.

Iran’s Supreme Leader on Jan. 2 accused “enemies” of the Islamic Republic of stirring unrest across the country as a crackdown intensified against anti-government demonstrations that began last week.

Mass demonstrations have gripped Iran since last Thursday, with thousands of people taking to the streets in a number of cities to protest against poverty and unemployment.

Iranian state TV is reporting that 10 people have been killed amid nationwide protests, without elaborating.

Iran warned on Dec. 31 that protesters will “pay the price” after a third night of unrest saw mass demonstrations across the country in which two people were killed and dozens arrested.

A powerful explosion damaged a court complex in central Athens early on Dec. 22, hours after Parliament voted to crackdown on anti-bailout protesters who gather regularly at the building.

The number of injured people due to the clashes between police and protesters in Argentina reached 162 people. 81 are also arrested. This was announced on Monday by the local newspaper "Todo Notissias", which monitors the development of demonstrations in a country.

According to the report, nearly half of the injured people are police officers.

Police trade unions will protest a day before the Christmas holidays on December 22nd, according to the Bulgarian National Television. 

The protests will take place at border crossings in the country. The trade unions said they would not block the work of the border crossings. The protesters will gain demand pay rise.

A total of 11 people were arrested and 26 detained during the rioting that broke out on Wednesday at a demonstration to mark the nine-year anniversary since the murder of teenager Alexandros Grigoropoulos by a policeman in central Athens.
