Brazilian teachers clash with police, over 200 hurt
Brazilian riot police fired smoke bombs and rubber bullets April 29 at striking teachers protesting a new law that will withhold more money from their salaries towards retirement.
Macedonia Allows Police to Use Rubber Bullets
With the support of 59 of the 122 deputies in parliament, Macedonia on Monday adopted changes to the Police Law allowing police to use rubber bullets to disperse violent crowds.
The police will now be allowed to use rubber bullets, stun guns and shock grenades if protesters who "violate the public order do not disperse on the call of the police".

Caricature Exhibition In Museum Of Socialist Art
The caricature exhibition "25 Years Of Infinite Transition" starts on December 11 in the Museum of Socialist Art in Sofia.
It will show 146 caricatures of 24 authors, which have been published in various Bulgarian daily newspapers in the 25 years of post-communist transition.
