Rally held in Athens to mark UN Anti-Racism Day

The gathering, organized by the United Movement Against Racism and the Fascist Threat (KEERFA), was being held on the occasion of the United Nations' Anti-Racism Day. Hate groups on the rise in US (infographic)

Hate groups are flourishing across the United States, according to a new report from the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). Nationwide, the SPLC identified 917 hate groups last year, an increase on 892 in 2015. The number of anti-Muslim groups in particular has risen steeply, almost tripling from 34 in 2015 to 101 in 2016.

Israeli Embassy in Sofia Condemns Lukovmarch

The Embassy of Israel in Sofia categorically condemns the unaccorded meeting called Lukovmarch which will take place this weekend in relation to the commemoration of the anniversary of the murder of General Hristo Lukov.

General Lukov and his present-day followers express fascist, pro-Nazi, racist and anti-Semitic views which should be banned in public space.

World Jewish Congress chief hails Greek-Israeli relations

Turkey marks Holocaust, warns against rising racist movements in Europe

Turkey has issued a message of commemoration for the millions of people who lost their lives during the Nazi Holocaust on Jan. 27 Holocaust Remembrance Day, saying the country would stand against anti-Semitism and Islamophobia.

"We commemorate the millions of people who lost their lives during the Holocaust with respect," the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
