GCS: 1,313 new cases of COVID-19; almost 9,000 tests performed in past 24 hours
A number of 1,313 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 have been recorded in the last 24 hours, after about 9,000 tests carried out nationwide, of which 5,801 RT-PCR tests and 3,194 rapid antigen tests, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) reported on Monday. These are cases that have not previously had a positive test, says GCS.

New virus infections jump to 941
The number of new infections announced by Greek health authorities jumped to 941 on Friday, from 716 on Thursday, bringing the total number of recorded cases to 155,678.
Seventeen of these new cases were reported at the country's entry points, according to new data from the National Organization for Public Health (EODY).

Covid-19 in Bulgaria: 598 Newly Infected, 28 Died
According to the data of the Single Information Portal, 598 are the new cases of Covid-19 infection. A total of 13,279 tests were taken, including 3,690 PCR and 9,589 antigen tests. The positive results were, respectively, 366 and 232, which is 4.5% of all tested.
The most infected are found in the capital - 150, followed by Plovdiv region with 50, and Burgas with 42.

More than 800 new Covid-19 infections recorded for second day
Greek health authorities confirmed 858 new coronavirus infections on Wednesday, raising the total number of cases to 154,083.
This was the second day in a row that the number of new cases have been above the 800-mark.
Of these new infections, just 11 were reported at the country's entry points.
