NIS - A memorial plaque marking the World War I centenary was revealed Monday in Nis on the building of Banovina, where 100 years ago today the then prime minister Nikola Pasic received the telegram with the declaration of war on Serbia.

FYROM's foreign minister does not see progress in name talks
The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) does not expect a visit next week by United Nations mediator Matthew Nimetz to bring any new proposals for a solution to the countrys name dispute with Greece, Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki said on Thursday.
Nimetz will be in Skopje on July 28 and 29 before spending the next two days in Athens.
Nimetz Upbeat on Fresh Macedonia 'Name' Talks
“This time I expect substantial progress at the meetings with the leaders in Skopje and Athens,” UN mediator Nimetz was quoted as saying in an interview for “Voice of the People,” a Macedonian TV magazine.
Nimetz will visit Skopje on Monday and Tuesday to meet Macedonian leaders, after which he will travel to Athens, a UN press release explained.

UN mediator for FYROM name talks due next week
United Nations mediator Matthew Nimetz will visit Skopje and Athens for talks next week, it was announced on Wednesday.
Nimetz will be in Skopje on July 28 and 29 before spending the next two days in Athens.
According to the UN, Nimetz is traveling to Greece and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) with the aim of rekindling discussions on the name dispute.

Macedonia Appoints New ‘Name’ Negotiator
The office of the Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov has announced that Naumovski is being appointed Macedonia's chief negotiator in the long-standing dispute with Greece over its name.
The move comes after the previous representative, Zoran Jolevski, recently took the post of defence minister.

BELGRADE -- The interior ministers of Serbia and Macedonia signed an agreement on the mutual recognition of driving licenses between the two governments.
Nebojša Stefanović and Gordana Jankuloska signed the document in Belgrade on Friday.
