Partizan draw, Red Star win in first legs of cup semi-finals

NOVI SAD - Partizan Belgrade drew 0-0 with Vojvodina Novi Sad away from home in Wednesday's first leg of the Serbian football cup semi-finals after Red Star Belgrade defeated Cukaricki 4-1 earlier in the day.

In a hectic game in front of 10,000 spectators at the Karadjordje Stadium, Vojvodina missed two great chances through Nenad Trujic and Aleksandar Palocevic.

Vojvodina vs Partizan, Cukaricki vs Red Star in Serbian football cup

BELGRADE - Vojvodina Novi Sad were on Tuesday drawn to face title holders Partizan Belgrade in the semi-finals of the Serbian football cup, with Cukaricki to take on Red Star Belgrade.

Vojvodina and Cukaricki will host the first legs on April 26, with the return legs slated for May 10.

Javor to face Partizan in Serbian Cup final

CACAK - Javor from Ivanjica will meet Partizan Belgrade in the final of Serbian Cup 2015/2016, after drawing Borac 1-1 in the second leg and winning the tie on aggregate in Cacak on Wednesday.
    
Javor had an advantage after a home 2-1 win in the first leg and is playing the national cup final for the first time in history.
    

Partizan beat Spartak 3-0 to book place in Serbian Cup final

SUBOTICA - Partizan beat Spartak 3-0 (1-0) to reach the final of the Serbian Cup 2015/2016 in Subotica on Wednesday.
    
Following a home 0-0 result in the first leg, the scorers taking the team from Belgrade to the final were Nemanja Mihajlovic in the 2nd, Dusan Vlahovic in the 84th and Ivan Bandalovski in the 89th minute.
    

Zeleznicar wins Serbian Cup in handball

NIS - Zeleznicar defeated Red Star 30-26 in Nis on Monday to take the Serbian handball cup.

This is Zeleznicar's first Serbian Cup trophy and sixth trophy in the club's history, since they won the Yugoslav Cup five times, in 1977, 1982, 1985, 1997 and 1999.

Darko Djukic from Zeleznicar was declared the most valuable player of the cup's final tournament.

Red Star wins national cup in volleyball

KRALJEVO - Red Star won the Serbian Cup in volleyball by beating Ribnica 25-21 26-24 25-19 in Kraljevo on Sunday.

President of the Serbian Volleyball Association Aleksandar Boricic presented the trophy to Red Star captain Dusan Petkovic.

Petkovic was declared the MVP of the final tournament.

This is the 12th national cup trophy Red Star has won.
