It's confirmed: "We are stopping arms deliveries to Ukraine"

This was announced today by the Slovak Ministry of Defense.
"Slovak Defense Minister Robert Kalik met in Brussels with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, and on that occasion informed him about the end of military aid to Ukraine from the warehouse of the Slovak Armed Forces," announced the Slovak Ministry of Defense, reports TASS.

Bulgaria Reaches Deal with U.S. to Buy F-16 Aircraft

NATO member Bulgaria has reached a deal with the United States to buy eight new F-16 fighter jets for its air force at a price of $1.256 billion, it said on Wednesday, reports Yahoo News. 

The Balkan country, which is also a member of the European Union, is looking to replace its ageing Soviet-made MiG-29s and improve compliance with NATO standards.

Bulgarian Army Launches Tactical Training Shabla 2015

A tactical training involving military firing at the training area of the Bulgarian Air Force near the Black Sea town of Shabla began on Monday.

More than 750 servicemen from the Bulgarian Air Force, 460 troops from the Bulgarian Land Forces, 200 servicemen from the Bulgarian Navy, crews from the Military Police Service and Border Police will participate in the four-day drills.

Pakistan 'to Table Own Fighters Offer' to Bulgaria

Pakistan is to make its own proposal to Bulgaria concerning the overhaul of its aircraft fleet, media reports suggest.

Currently the US, Italy and Sweden have been bidding to answer Bulgaria's need to have a squadron of 16 fighter jets replacing the existing one which is made up of Russian-made outdated MiGs.
