Ioannis Sarmas appointed head of Greece’s Court of Audit
Ioannis Sarmas, 62, until now vice president at the supreme financial court of Greece, has been chosen as the new head of the Court of Audit for the next four years.
The decision was announced during a meeting of the cabinet on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Altana Kokkovou, Ioannis Maginas, Georgios Kontos, Aspasia Mayiakou and Avrokomi Thoua were appointed Supreme Court vice presidents.
The Karst Edge Run
The Karst edge is a landmark between the Mediterranean and continental Slovenia. On its southern side there lays Istria, on its northern side are Karst, Brkini and Čičarija. It is an extension of the Alps, which goes from the Italian Devin above Trieste, through Slovenia and finishes before the Croatian port town of Rijeka. The Edge is up to 500 metres high and has several shelfs.

After making an improbable run in the home arena in Ljubljana, beating the European champions Russia and world champions Poland in the process, Slovenia had to concede to Serbia even though they won the first set.
