Russian envoy: Fate of Prespes accord will not affect Greek-Russian relations

Russia's relations with Greece will not be affected by the result of the ongoing procedure to ratify an agreement signed between Athens and Skopje to resolve a long-standing dispute on the name of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), the Russian Ambassador to Greece said on Wednesday.

Vatican confirms: Pope is coming to Balkans

"Accepting the invitation of the top authorities and of the Catholic Church" the pope will be in Bulgaria from May 5-7, and on May 7 in Macedonia, a Vatican spokesperson said on Thursday.

The government of Macedonia announced that the pope will visit Skopje, the birthplace of Mother Theresa, during his visit on May 7 next year.
