After the Series of Police Protests - a Salary Increase in the Interior Ministry

After the series of police protests there is already a salary increase in the Ministry of Interior was promised. However, the increase is not for all employees.

According to bTV information, the additional funds are in the range from BGN 30 to BGN 108 per month. According to trade unions, this does not solve the problems in the sector.

Police Trade Unions Will Protest Before Christmas

Police trade unions will protest a day before the Christmas holidays on December 22nd, according to the Bulgarian National Television. 

The protests will take place at border crossings in the country. The trade unions said they would not block the work of the border crossings. The protesters will gain demand pay rise.

The Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria Will Insist on a Minimum Salary of BGN 700

The Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB) will insist on a salary of at least BGN 700 for a young people who graduated university, and who are working in their specialty. Decent pay for overtime is also part of the demands of the unions for which they will fight during the national  protest on Friday, October 27.

More than 5 Million French People are Expected to Protest Across the Country

Thousands of government officials will strike across France, with around 130 demonstrations planned in 90 of the country's 96 departments, Mediapool said.

For the first time in a decade, the nine French trade unions, representing public sector employees, have called for strike today against "negative" government employment reforms, the French version of the "Local" website reported.

Macron Signs French Labor Reform Decrees

 President Emmanuel Macron formally signed five decrees overhauling France's labor rules on Friday, the first major economic reforms since he took power in May.

The new rules, discussed at length in advance with unions, will cap payouts on dismissals that are judged unfair, while also giving companies greater freedom to hire and fire employees and to agree working conditions.
