Turkish artists join fair in Brussels
Turkish artists represented by the Contemporary Turkish Artists Paris Association (ACT) will represent Turkey at the 4th Art3F Contemporary Art Fair on Nov 15, 16 and 27 in Brussels. ACT organizes a reception today as the opening event of the fair, where nine Turkish artists will display works.

A painting by 19th century Ottoman painter Osman Hamdi Bey has been sold in a London auction for almost $6 million.

The Istanbul Research Institute's new exhibition "Memories of Humankind: Stories from the Ottoman Manuscripts," which opened on Oct. 18, brings up the Ottoman manuscript culture which gradually lost its importance as the printing press became widespread in the 19th century.
