ALDE's Tariceanu, after coalition meeting: We are having parliamentary debate, not GEO on modification of Codes

Alliance of Liberals and Democrats (ALDE) Chairman Calin Popescu-Tariceanu on Monday stated that he did not discuss with the partners in the ruling coalition at their meeting earlier in the day about the modification of the Criminal Codes through a Government Emergency Ordinance (GEO), as they will use exclusively the parliamentary debate path for the job.

Prime Minister Viorica Dancila was welcomed on Friday, within an official ceremony held at the Belweder Palace in Warsaw, by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

After the official photo is taken, the two Prime Ministers are to carry out talks. In parallel, bilateral meetings among the relevant ministers are to take place.

PM Dancila: 288.02 million euros have entered Romania's coffers as reimbursements of EAFRD payments

Prime Minister Viorica Dancila said on Thursday that 288.02 million euros have entered Romania's coffers as reimbursements of payments related to the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).

She added that Romania reached 17pct in the absorption of European funds, approaching the European average of 18pct.
