Bulgaria Must Install Voting Machines in Every Polling Station, Court Rules
The Supreme Administrative Court has ruled Bulgarian authorities have to make sure electronic voting is enabled in every polling station in the country at the snap election scheduled for the end of March.
Bulgaria Court to Rule on Election System Referendum, Machine Voting
A court will sit on Friday to determine whether the referendum held in November on the voting system is binding and whether machine voting should be mandatory for all polling stations.
Voters overwhelmingly backed in November the introduction of a majority electoral system, a drastic cut in party subsidies, and mandatory voting in both elections and referenda.

A test of the experimental ballot counting by using special machines will probably be confined to Bulgaria's capital Sofia at the forthcoming presidential vote, an electoral official has said.
Aleksandar Andreev, head of the Central Electoral Committee, has told Focus Radio that the constituencies implementing the method for the first time are yet to be determined.
8000 Bulgarian Voters Tested the Machine Voting
Eight thousand Bulgarian voters tested the experimental voting machines at the European elections, reported the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), quoted by Sega daily.
CEC will analyse the outcome and will present the official data next week.
