Bulgaria's Galina Ivanova Wins WBA Interim Boxing Title

Galina Ivanova, a Bulgarian professional boxer, has won the World Boxing Association's bantamweight title in a Saturday match in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Ivanova defeated Hungarian Csilla Nemedi in what was both her and Nemedi's first attempt at claiming the title, according to news website Dnevnik.bg.

The title, which had been left vacant for some time, was an easy one for the Bulgarian player, which "dominated the entire fight", as boxingscene.com reports.
