Minister believes Croatia has no reservations about culture

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Culture and Information Vladan Vukosavljevic said Wednesday he was not aware of any Croatian reservations about culture in terms of Chapter 26 (education, culture and sport) in Serbia's EU accession talks.

"As far as we know, Croatia has no reservations about culture," Vukosavljevic told a press conference at the Ministry of Culture and Information.

The issue of the property of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Croatia had been raised in the past, but there have been no problems, he said.

"In that regard, many activities have been carried out, commissions have been set up that worked successfully, some returns have, of course, been carried out, while some other preconditions have been set for some others. But, in that process, in discussions about the topic, we had no obstacles from Croatia," Vukosavljevic explained.
